To me, once my Sims pass a certain threshold on finances, money just becomes a nuisance. I just can't get rid of it fast enough. And it's like the more I give away, the more I get back. I was aggravated when my EverySim household surpassed the one million mark, since I knew it meant I had too much money.
Don't get me wrong, I like having loads of cash so I can build massive, ugly, horrible houses. But once I move in, I never have much need for anything else, since having a job will take care of the bills.
