disappointing adoption

my first toddler was taken away tonight. I wasn’t upset as it pretty much fit in with the storyline but then..i was Super disappointed to find out someone else in my sims community could NOT adopt him! (they looked him up under adoptions on the computer) I played this scenario in Sims 2 and it really added an interesting layer. so what’s up with that???

    I don't know, it just isn't a feature in this version of the sims. Once a child is taken, poof! They're gone. However, if you use the MCC mod, there is an option you can enable so that they're adopted into another family instead. Maybe if we complain enough, EA will add this feature officially.

    Yeah I wish that was a thing too. The way it is currently coded, a child taken away is listed as a type of death in the code which is i guess why it doesn't happen.

    MCCC they get adopted by another household. They still don't show up on the adoption list but you can find them in manage worlds

    Well that is slightly disturbing. Better take care of your kids before they "take care" of them for you
