i am thinking of getting the expansion pack Lovestruck and I saw on the news section that there is a discount for the pack right but the article doesn't say how. Did anyone of you bought the pack and got the discount?

I got a misleading email that said 20% off but when you do what it says it is only 10%. Says nothing about being EA play member to get the full percentage off.
i feel very deceived my email shows nothing of a % discount and it read as a free download and was charged full price

I got the same misleading email offer. Here's what it says in the email, a direct copy/paste:
Log into EA App using the account associated with this email and add Lovestruck to your cart.
Your 20% discount will be applied automatically!
...But then when you do it, it's only discounting 10%. Very underhanded. 😒
EA is so unethical these days, they're a real buzzkill to their own products. I don't like their clumsy attempts to swindle players, so I'll probably just wait now for a real sale to get Lovestruck. Was considering buying it in the next couple of weeks, but totally turned off now.
My email doesn't even give a percentage nor does a discount apply when attempting to purchase.
