Discover University bugs/glitches/issues

So my problem isn't specifically related to the Uni experience in the game, but rather a side feature. Those blasted Sprites! I can't stand them! They constantly keep popping up while my sim is sleeping and keep disturbing her and waking her up. That forces me to either constantly cheat her Energy bar or make her sleep in and lose the day entirely for other things. Or just have no energy the whole day... And the fact is that she currently lives alone and has only a dog; I have nobody to perform the necessary actions with, so I suffer from those pests every. single. time...
There has to be a way to get rid of them? Or a cheat? Or something to make those sprites stop spawning, or at least stop spawning so often. If not, I am hoping for a mod. Or a patch in the very very near future. They are seriously driving me nuts. :(

I apologize if this is the wrong section to post. I didn't feel like making a whole post just for a rant, especially because I am not even sure if this should be reported as a bug, or just a very bad design feature. Either way, it needs fixing of some kind. Or at least editing in future patches.
