DJing and the Musical Genius Aspiration
I looked over the details for the aspiration (http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/aspirations/musicalgenius.php) and it seems in theory you could do it with the DJ skill and the DJ booth. Has anyone tried it?

That's what I'm wondering! I know if you take the Entertainer job it counts for playing music....- It seems it can increase skill but the career requires specific instruments and so far it's not on the list.

Yes
Is taken at first milestone when request practice music 6 hours- Mentoring sims is not available though...
- You can publish mix tapes like the songs written on an instrument. :)
- What would be cool if you made a song using say the violin you could mix it to the dj machine
- You can go all the way until the last thing which is to mentor. No option to mentor through the DJ booth, only thing keeping me from completing the aspiration :( I wish EA would change that
