Do Vampires Visit Other Neighborhoods Autonomously?

Vlad came & had a feast on my single mom with two little kids during the night, just walked into her home & snacked on her. I too bought the vampire game for the items in it, didn't want the vampires.. I was so sad when he did this to my sim I went & evicted all the vampires that came with their world.. I have my settings so empty homes cant be filled.. so will he/they come back? Wish we could turn them off.. Is there a way to stop the vampires from being in our game? Pretty Please :blush:
