@phantasmkiss, I don't know if you use CC or not, but if you do and are interested in some storage options designed specifically for collectables, "Somecreative CC" has some great designs to make displaying them and seeing what you are missing super easy.
I particularly like the one for frogs, because it has labels so you know exactly what goes where and what is missing. Here's a picture of it:
