I voted "Yes," because I like to control how my played Sims' shapes change, or don't change. When I create a Sim whom I envision as being lean, I'll have them run, swim, and do yoga to retain their shape. A more muscular Sim will need to hit the weights to remain buff. One of my favorite Sims is a very heavy man. He rolled "Likes Wellness," and when I play him, I don't let a day pass without him doing yoga or meditating.
I'm also not above cheating when I can't manage a Sim's shape well enough. My heavy Sim was losing too much weight, so I cheated him back to his usual shape. I've also had to cheat Sims who were too ripped and too thin.
I run in real life, so I send Sims off on runs quite frequently. Any time purposeful walking or hiking are options, my Sims do these, too. The abovementioned mod might have to become part of my game; thanks for the tip, @Stormkeep .
I've discovered that I think having Sims meditate and do yoga is calming for me. Since the Watcher enjoys feeling this way, my Sims have been spending more and more time with Wellness activities.
