Oh yeah, absolutely, especially for elders. I figure there's no way they made it to elder-hood without getting pretty far along in at least a couple of areas. YAs, I usually start out with what I think would be a realistic skill level for their interests - like, if they're foodies, they start with at least a skill level 4 in cooking/baking, although they may have zero skills in other areas. Adults, I give a bit more, elders I often max out (or nearly max) one or two skills. This is just for, as you said, stories/character, though. In other games, I play 'legacy style' and don't use cheats at all. :smile:
