No - part of the fun and harder part of the game is to earn everything my Sims get whether it is money or skills. It would be like cheating myself if I just gave them everything - they need to earn it. It is easy just to cheat them up everything - but to me that loses a big part of what the game is about - which to me is at real life through the sims. If in real life I cannot give myself an education free of charge and all the money and furniture I want - then what sense would it make for me to give easy street to the Sims. I'd quickly bore of that game. If it was up to me the game would not even have the ability to cheat anything. Luckily for many players it is not up to me though. LOL.
Life is far from easy - a game representing life shouldn't be either. That is my view and opinion - and no one has to agree for sure - but it is the way I feel. The game is easy enough as it is - so we have to leave some challenges.
I sort of take pride in my sim working hard to succeed. Silly of course - it's just a game I know - but never the less that is also how I feel. I couldn't take pride in something I earned without working for it in some manner.
