No, not for that reason. I did a lot of torturing and killing of sims in TS1 and TS2 for no real reason at all other then I could. TS3 I mainly just built things. TS4 Shinya just has his fun with them until they get sick of his can't keep it in his pants ways. If the person he is with annoys me I just have him keep on cheating on brushing them off until they get the hint.
