The lack of diverse townie careers in the default sims 4 save is one of my biggest gripes about the game. Coworkers are a big part of my sims social life, so I try to make sure there are sims in every career as I like to explore every career at some point. I also like to make clubs for every career and give them an acociated community lot to act as a makeshift work place, I find it quite immersive to show up to a lot and see sims "working". If you want to go an extra step, give some of these sims degrees just to have that extra bit of detail to their personalities.
