Do you have individual money accounts in your game?

This is the main reason why I never play a household of active roommates because it doesn't make sense that their income is combined and it ruins the storytelling for me. The roommate system helps by letting the inactive sims pay rent but its not the same if i can't control them and choose their career and adventure. So I always play families
