I like the trait that comes with the location aspirations, Home Turf. But other than matching the starting trait to my sims' personalies and farming some of the lower tiers for points when it is convenient, I do not play with aspirations (Yes, I miss out on the reward traits, but I just can't be bothered with the restricting structure.). For point farming the location aspirations are pretty good, except for the San Myshuno one that requires giving a key to a neighbor.
