Do you make your sim self?

I make my sim self but I struggle to make her look like me lol. I’m not very good at building or sim making :joy:

I did last night, actually. Wanted to build something, and decided to do my RL apartment. Made it into a small house, and then made the me-sim and my cat, Sarah. I've only moved them in, not played them yet. Not sure I'm going to.

I have a simself thrown together in case one of my friends wants to play with me. But in my own saves, I have to work hard to not turn every toon into a supersim. Since turning my simself into a supersim would feel way too mary sueish for my tastes, I'm content to just sit in the library.

I did when the game first came out. I think my sim self (seen in my avatar) was the second Sim I created, but I didn't play the Sim beyond a generation or two. Just got hooked on different challenges and other ideas that required different types of Sims. I did make a couple of my cats when C&D came out and put them into a made up family, though. That was fun. :smiley:

My simself is the matriarch of a family that includes her three children, 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. I'm really just waiting for her to die at this point. She started in the game as a teen.

I have my Simself and my husband's Simself in my library -- thinking of making my Simself become a famous author, while her (my) husband is just an ordinary guy who has to deal with his wife's fame.

Yes my Simself is also running around the Simworlds. I also made my pug and my cat <3. But I actually never play them. But I find it funny when my Simself is interacting with my Sims :).

I did in the past, but I would always stop before myself/my parents could die. There was something morbid about it to me.

I did in past games but have never done it in the Sims 4. When I was much younger it was fun to make all my friends and family but it felt strange making my own kids, so that's about the time I quit.
