No, I've never been a fan of the concept of having real people (including myself) in my game. It feels creepy to me. I don't have anything against other people doing it, though. It's just one of my own inhibitions.

I do! My icon is actually my simself!

I loved playing with my self sim in Sims 1.When sims 2 came out the very first sim I played was another selfsim. I liked marrying her off and getting kids (I was single without kids in real life at the time.) But when she was about to become an elder I freaked out. I could not let that happen because the next phase for my selfsim would be death. From then on I have never played a self sim again and probably never will. I like playing with aging on and find it difficult to see my selfsim age.

I just made it recently for a render project by @illogicalSimmer, although I can't say that it's 100% accurate, but almost. I never played with my Simself... and I don't know what will I do with her... Perhaps, she'll be the NPC that will never age :D

I re-made my Simself a few weeks ago after getting a haircut and it's the most accurate version I've made so far, but the height will always bother me lol. She's too tall. I never actually play my Simselves more than 5 minutes after making them though.Spoiler (Highlight to read)

I'm the opposite. I couldn't make Sim Me in TS2 but in TS3 and TS4 I could.

I’ve made myself in my game but haven’t played her. I don’t plan to, but I like seeing how close I can get to making a Sim look like myself. I like the escapism of the Sims too, so real people aren’t necessary for me in game.

I've made my simself a couple times, still not for Sims 4 though. I think it would be fun, but like a lot of people on this thread, the death creeps me out. I could always play her with aging off though...

I do and I use her to explore game mechanics I'm unfamiliar with/learn the ropes of the game as each new pack is released. She's also my avatar.
