I have no idea where my friend got them damn memes from! When I couldn't find hardly any I was freaked out. 😂
Yes, I'm pale too, it's just part of having Irish ancestry. 🤣
Being able to write is a real talent 😊. It takes a lot of presence of mind to know the reader needs everything explaining to them, as they aren't in the authors mind. The best writers have the most in depth descriptions, IMO. Affecting people with writing is difficult, as the reader has to be moved with words only. I on the other hand just don't have the patience to write well. Simply because, I have the issue of missing out small details and getting carried away. Being a good writer requires good patience IMO. Which I sometimes lack 😂
I think people in my life who have said that just don't want to me, or anyone else, to cry. It comes from a good place, really. I don't think they mean to be patronizing. 😂 As for why I've been upset at bad movies and games, I might have exaggerated at bit. 😂 But I have been unimpressed with many, maybe I'm just a diva for being angry with a film being awful, Or maybe just too sensitive. I had I similar reaction to The Last Of Us 2, I never played it as I knew they'd butchered the original story, which should've ended with the first game. I remember watching a certain streamer playing it, and crying at a very bloody scene. As she was genuinely crying, I cried too. It doesn't take me much to cry at genuine emotion. 😅 That game was so bad a lot of people cried/despaired throughout. The way the original story was ruined is very sad, I think the second game was just about vileness, really not cool.
The Wii games I'm referring to, well, I played quite a few. I'd say the MySims series are considered obscure to some people, Lol. I also played TS3 on the Wii which was different so say the least, not that I didn't enjoy it, it was just odd. 😂 And Naruto Run is just referring to the way in which Naruto runs, basically an anime style of running with the arms behind the back, Lol.
No, I haven't been to a movie theatre since I was around 7...Lol. I probably wouldn't make any noise in a movie theatre though. I just never fancy going to see a movie in a actual theatre. But I agree with you on Pet Semetary, I usually really enjoy anything by Stephen King. Accept from The Shining, that film just made me laugh, I do know though that Stephen King didn't actually like that adaptation from his book. I get it, the film was odd but pretty unintentionally funny. 😅

@Midevil_Chaos I forgot to add that when you mentioned watching the predator movie and the guy shouting kiss. reminded me of when boxers do that face off thing in an attempt to look like they want to fight, whenever I see it I always say "kiss already!" 😂

What can you do? Memes are difficult to come by when you're looking for the one you really want.
So... you burn in the sun after 10 minutes as well? *sigh* lol. 😂
It does take some, I guess? I mean... I have little patience for some things because I'm getting older *sigh*, and yet I manage to write books and then publish them. You know the meme of the little girl in pink, and she's like, "I dunno". That's me right now LOL. And also, same meme when you're in your 30s and 40s and think you're getting older. 🤣 If anything, when it comes to writing something, I literally have a document with X amount of lines, and each line has what each page, 5 pages or chapter will entail. Otherwise, forget it, it'll be pretty damn hard lol.
Maybe they aren't. Maybe I would be patronizing? I'd gently hold and tap your hand and be like, "there, there. It'll be ok. " 🤣🤣🤣 Meanwhile, I'd be confused as to why you're crying lol. To be fair, I don't cry in movies, maybe with the exception if it's something I experienced that was deeply traumatizing/painful, and was reminded of it in the movie. Or it can be an object, though I usually don't cry. The last time I cried was 4 years ago, almost to the day.
I have to admit... I've never played The Last of Us, nor the 2nd one. Please don't judge me. I dunno why. I've seen that game remade/remastered etc. like 3 times. 😂 So either it's really, really good... or they keep failing to make a good game. 😂 If it was as bad (the 2nd one), I would have been like, "what? this sucks" and stopped playing LOOOOOL. There are games if I really don't like them, I literally will stop playing.
Naruto runs with his arms behind his back? See, you know more about Naruto than I do. You're more of a nerd than a I am. 🤣 This is conclusive proof. Checkmate! 🤗
Whaaaaaat? Last time you went to the theater was when you were 7? You must be like me then, when it comes to being surrounded by people. I get it, I definitely understand. Hence the pale nature of my skin that burns in 10 minutes if outside lol.
For The Shining, I recall seeing it and the axe scene and all... but not much else. I think for me, it was probably more akin to a deluded psychopath trying to be funny in a horror-like movie. Yeah, I'll go with that. Imagine that. - Midevil_Chaos2 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Yes, they should :D

I do burn in the sun very easy, sunscreen doesn't cut it sometimes. So in the midday I don't venture out, or at least that's my excuse anyway. 😂
I wouldn't be patronized by that. I don't get patronized by people that mean well, one bit. And personally I think 95% of the people that watched Coco cried when the grandma died 😂. Disney is sometimes hardcore sometimes lol, I cried at Bambi too 🤣. I also cried at Iris Von Everec's story in TW3, Wow, that story was very touching. TW3 is an amazing game though, It's probably one of my favourite games of all time though, so I'm biased! 😂
Don't worry about not playing TLOU. I can't say I've played many of different games, I just have games that I replay that I are my favourites. I'd say TLOU 1 didn't need a remaster at all. It's a good game, I enjoyed the first quite a bit. But the second is just...yeah...😬 It didn't need a second that's the problem, the story ended in the first. As for the remasters, I have no idea why it keeps being remastered, Money maybe? I think they changed too much with the remasters actually. The 2013 version is the original and best IMO, the atmosphere felt tense at times. And yes, some parts made me cry. 😂 I sound like I cry at everything now, but I don't, I swear. 🤣
A nerd! 🤣 Okay I'll accept that. 😂
As for The Shining, It was supposed to be a horror, but was a comedy to me. 😂 This particular scene made me laugh a lot, and has stuck with me The Shining - (Clip) Man in Bear Suit - YouTube 🤣

Oh, we both know that's not the real reason, but merely the "official" reason. Since no one can argue about skin actually "burning", it's a great excuse to use honestly. "Oh, you wanna go out today, to the park and then to this fancy restaurant. Jeez, I dunno about that... it's so sunny outside, you know I'll burn" Secretly inside, you're all like, *Phew! Disaster averted! I can't believe the nerve of some people, thinking I can go out like that, with skin so fair as mine*. 😂 Alright, the last part was a bit dramatic, but *shrugs*.
Oh, I am so sorry. I have never played any of the Witcher Games. I never liked 1st person games. I feel like if you're gonna have a game, you absolutely need to see the character, otherwise, you're actually playing as a weapon. If they remade the franchise in 3rd person AND allowed you to customize the character, I would totally try it out at that point.
I might be spoiled with some amazing game franchises like Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age, but I absolutely love when your character is your character based on who you want them to be. You obviously can't do that with characters like Link or Mario lol, but when it comes to other games, hell yeah. Which is why I didn't really enjoy Star Wars Fallen Order (that and the story was meh - and you couldn't get a red light sabre until you actually completed the game... ugh. Which red is the best light sabre colour).
Why is The Witcher 3 your fav game? Is it the gameplay, the story or something else?
I've never heard of Coco before *me/ after 5 minutes of googling it* Ah yes, that movie. I had no idea it was called Coco lol. I assume you are part of the 95% of people who cried during that movie? 🤗
I feel ya, I will buy new games sometimes, either because it's a new entry in the franchise (like Mass Effect for example), or because it's a new game from a franchise that may not have something like that which was ever released and I'm psyched about. It's not to say I would necessarily enjoy the game (though I hope I do). I bought the last Zelda game for that reason, and I'll buy the next one (Tears of the Kingdom - I think it's called). Otherwise, I buy older games at times on gog if they are remastered. Have you ever heard of Pharaoh? That game was amazing and soooooooo addictive. I will be buying the new remastered game, and I am so grateful they remastered the game. I will buy it in the future once I get the chance :D
"I sound like I cry at everything now, but I don't, I swear." I mean... 🤣 I don't spend every waking moment of the day with you. I dunno if you do or not 🤣. But, there is no reason for me to not believe you. So, I have to believe you... right? 😂
Ah ah! I knew it, you are a nerd! 😄 Takes one to know one. 😂 Wait a minute!
Was that clip for real? I don't remember a bear in the movie 😂😂😂 - Missie_Kate2 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Exactly! How dare those sun walkers bring us pasty people into the light, it's dangerous! 😂
I totally get why you prefer customisable games. It means you can really explore different characters, and make your own story, in a way. I really enjoyed TW2 and TW3 because of many things, the humour, landscapes, stories, soundtrack, characters, and overall atmosphere. Also the expansions of TW3 are some of the best expansions I've ever played. The stories are just really immersive and really well done for the most part. I really enjoy well done stories. and The Witcher games are based of the original Witcher books. So it gives the game even more depth with having around 6 books, I think? I don't bother with the series though, it's just not The Witcher it's just...🤨. As for the books, some bits I liked, some not so much, parts I personally would've wrote differently. I've never played Dark Souls or Dragon Age, they are the two games it get told to play the most, I still don't know why I haven't yet. 😂 In fact the friend I mentioned before, met her friend through World of Warcraft, and their mutual love of Stardew Valley, so chatted on discord about it. she's the one that suggested to me to play Dark Souls and Dragon Age, I still haven't played any of them yet sadly. I think I live under a rock sometimes. 🤣
Yes, not ashamed I cried at Coco, Disney knew what they were doing there. 😂
I haven't played Pharaoh sadly, but I'll check it out. As for Zelda I felt like Breath Of The Wild was released more recently than it was, so I googled it and was released in 2017! I had no idea they were releasing the new game in a few days. Lol
And yes, that bear scene really was in The Shining! It was sooo random 🤣 It made me really laugh when they just popped up outta nowhere. The bear isn't in the movie until that point, when Shelley Duvall catches them getting freaky. Those fellas should've closed the door over at least! 🤣🤣🤣

I don't know. I wish people would understand. I figure you and I are Drow (from Neverwinter Nights - they were akin night Elves preferring the undergrounds), and the fact that some people have the audacity to look down on us. *Shake fists at the Sun Walkers*
That's understandable. Typically, games can be fun based on one or several factors: A) Vast open world B) Great story C) Great character customization D) Replayability E) In depth game mechanics etc.
I will say this, Dragon Age Inquisition is probably the best game ever made, aside from the original Neverwinter Nights. The OG NWN has way more races and classes to play with. Back in the day I had 10GB of mods for that game. Mind you, that was in the early 2000s. I may not have the patience to play the OG NWN because it is truly story driven, but if you get the chance to play that game... please do so. Get the Diamond edition. If there was a game I ever fell in love with, it was Neverwinter Nights back in the early 2000s. I wish there would be a genuine remaster of Neverwinter Nights, without changing a thing in the game in terms of the mechanics. That game with updated and modern graphics would be stupendous!
I tell you what, if you play either the OG NWN or DAI from A-Z, I will play one of the Witcher games. I know I have the one called The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. What do you say, wanna do that? You wouldn't say no to another pasty underground dweller, would you? 🤗🤗🤗 And yes, I'm already kicking myself for suggesting this cuz I'm slightly scared of playing a Witcher game, but it could be fun? 😄
I have never played Dark Souls, so I can't comment on that franchise. Though I heard good thing about it as well. Although, I would say DMC (Devil May Cry) was good. I had only briefly played one of those games, and it was fun for what it's worth. So, you could also try that franchise out as well. That is, if you don't wanna play Dark Souls.
Yeah, it feels like the last Zelda game wasn't that old, but yeah it's 6 years old lol. That being said, I hope the next game does NOT have that dumb sword breaking mechanic which made the game frustratingly annoying at times.
Someone must have been drunk or something... why was there a bear in there? 😂

I normally create near-identical copies of my friends and family to start but always end up creating some sort of dopplegänger version to balance things

For sure! Being an elf has many benefits, being superior in life span, extremely good looking. And of course underground dwelling, in the case of the Drow elves anyway! 😂
You know what makes a great game, for sure! I've been meaning to play DAI for a long time as I know many people really love it. Seriously though, you don't have to play The Witcher just because I enjoy it. 😂 If 1st person RPG's don't float your boat you don't have to play it, seen as those types of games aren't your usual choice.😄 But if you do play it, my first recommendation is to make sure you play it with both Blood And Wine and Hearts Of Stone expansions. They change a 8/10 game into a 10/10, IMO of course. 😄 And my second is, when I first played I was shocked at some of the random nakedness'. 🤣 So the game is 100% a 18 mature rating, that's for damn sure! Lol. So you'll have to get used to the random butt shots that happen, if you do happen to play it. 😂 So maybe don't play it around anyone that is sensitive to things that can be in a 18 rated game, Lol. I first played it with no knowledge of anything about it, so I went bright red when the beginning of the game opens with a booty. 🤣 The game is still great though, I really enjoy a good RPG, and it delivered for sure. Without any spoilers, the ending you get is based on your decisions as the player. So it's really fun to me, even though I do the same things every time I play. 😂
I agree about Zelda, I get a bit annoyed when weapon wear is included in games. I'm not usually into combat in games though, so anything combat related doesn't excite me much anyway. I think other things in games are more important, but that's just me. 😄
I have no idea why they were getting it on with one of them in a bear suit. 🤣 Maybe Stanley Kubrick thought that was creepy as it can get. 😂 Stephen King must've been freaked out when he saw that film thinking to himself..."I didn't write any of this!" 😂😂
