- I have it and I love it! It's great for family bonding trips :)
- I have it. Last time I played it was right after Cats and Dogs came out. They remembered to include the basic items you would need to care for a pet at the campground store, but forgot about the toddlers. You were back to changing diapers and they had no bed to sleep in. I heard that they were adding a toddler bed in a patch, prior to the release of the Jungle GP, that we will be able to use..
- No, but I am wondering whether I should get it now, because I badly want tents for JA and the herbalism skill would be useful too. I'm just not sure whether it would really worth it. It seems an awful lot to pay for a tent and a skill! (It reminds me a little of the Perfect Patio stuff pack, which I bought solely for the hot tubs and then was bitterly disappointed when I got them.) So I'll try to hold out for a bit longer, although I can see myself caving in the end.
- I have it and love it. Tents have always been one of my favorite items in the game, and I love the atmosphere of Granite Falls. I've used the herbalism skill å lot already and I'm going to use it even more now! I'm so happy when packs tie in like this.

Unless your Sim really feels like roughing it, you won't need OR. A tent isn't really necessary for sleeping. There's the bushes to sleep in, I believe, or the villas. The temple isn't very big. So, if the Sims go in all topped up in their needs, they should be okay with some insect repellent, poison antidotes, medicine, and some waterfalls in a bottle. I believe that all of those things can be purchased in JA or the base game.
It seems like you'll still be able to check JA out without having to invest more. If you really want the tent and the herbalism, try to hold out for a sale? :) - I own it since it was released. Am always sending Sims there. I find it very relaxing and a great way to skill up, build relationships. Many of my Sims have gotten pregnant on a trip to GF! I like searching for the insects, hiking, fishing. I've updated all the lots courtesy of the wonderful builders that share to the gallery. I've added restaurants, spas. And that toddlers can sleep in the tent i can send families with toddlers to the camp grounds. Having JA will add more variety. Such as archeology skill and exploring the temple. But Sims can also just relax and stay around the cantina.
- susanleona8 years agoSeasoned AceIt was my getaway romantic spot for some couples, plus for singles (who didn't get too lonely on their own) it was a great solo vacation spot. Some of my sims went there for the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration or for the plants and herbalist skill and one sim had a fling and a kid with the Hermit. I added a second Arts Center there which my sims like to visit, vacation or not.
- I have it but I never use it.

Oh cool, I had no idea the Hermit's concoction would do this, thank you! <3
I have OR and I love it! I've sent many Sims there to enjoy the beautiful world. My world famous Wilderness Survivalist/Super Sim has completed the insects, wild plants and fish collections there and also has all the herbal remedies. However, I have never sent a family there, it's usually just a single Sim to relax, work on collections, go fishing, visit the Hermit, do some beautiful paintings etc.
Now that toddlers can sleep in tents and have their own portable beds, I will be sending families there at last. Thank you Devs!
I like to send my Handiness Sims there to get the camp mascot schematic from the statue in the middle of the campgrounds too. They have to be about Level 7 to get it though. Those things are just as profitable as bathtubs, but only require half the time to make! \o/
Hubby and I love camping and spending time around the firepit in our backyard, so of course our Simselves were the first (and only) couple I sent there when I purchased the pack.

I love CAS and Buy/Build mode for this pack and use all the objects frequently. Especially the tent, firepit, cooler, shower and lanterns since all my Sims start out on an empty lot with 0 simoleans in Rags to Riches style. It's a great pack that has given me many, many hours of enjoyment. :)
Tip: I have an additional way that helps me locate the entrance to the Hermit's area other than what has already been mentioned. There is a consistent beetle (might be termites, they're white) spawner in a clearing about 10-20 ft. in front and to the right of the entrance in the rocks.
