Do you play as your Simself?

Since the beginning I've always had a simself and my family in my game. I always start as a single female household, play for a while before creating my spouse, dating, and getting married. In real life I have two boys but I've always had girls in game because I love dressing female sims. I created my parents and siblings and used a mod to set the relationships. I then did the same for my spouse. Right now I still have to create my siblings' spouses and kids and my spouse's siblings families.

Most of my gameplay revolves around these characters. Lots of family get togethers, vacations, dining out, etc.
