I have a base set-up that I like to have for my sims, where I play with aging off. After that, I will turn aging on to see how things will progress.

If just playing then aging off if doing a legacy or another kind of challenge then aging is set to long

I play with aging on as I play generations and can't have them living forever.
I have prolonged a few of my favourite sims with the elixir of youth potion, however.
Plus, I'm not a fan of elders once they stoop. have cracking backs and baggy faces! Unfortunately, something we're all going to face eventually! 😬

Off. There is hardly any time to do anything if they age as per normal.

@queenlypeanuts I tend to agree with you! Though you can play with a long lifespan, you can still miss things easily, so I find it better to play with aging off!
