Skate rink and size?

They do come in both sizes, but it’s the walls or the barriers around then themselves that I find make it hard to integrate into landscaping organically. For instance, if I wanted to have it look like a natural frozen pond (for the ice rink) it looks very enclosed. And not really necessary considering sims don’t hold on the ledges for support.

I wish they gave us an option similar to the dance floor to make the rink invisible so I could place it anywhere and build around it

@MonaCool i saw your post on another thread looking for an invisible ice rink. These aren’t invisible but the modder has made them like the dance floor so you could lay them down and camouflage them to look like ponds.

I agree it looks odd, but another problem for me is that no sims use them autonomously, so I built a Skating arena, but it’s empty because none of the sims that spawn will use the rinks.

They each come in 2 different sizes, if I remember correctly. I haven’t placed one in awhile I generally just use the ones that auto spawn in the worlds, bu I thought they said in the livestream for Seasons each style comes in a large and a smaller size. Unless you’re finding both too cumbersome.

I agree. That's the reason why I rarely use them in game. I wish there was a lot trait or something to make it work as an actual skating rink.

Interesting. I was planning on building an indoor skating rink...
My Sim has skated on the randomly generated ones several times before and other Sims often join in, so I wonder what’s the deal with that then.
