I've noticed I get more names the people on this forum consider "normal" or not "exotic" (?) when I go to other worlds like Windenburg or Willow Creek. Then I get a ton of sims with the last name Fuller.
Also, it's pretty unrealistic to expect sims' names to match their appearance, because if they were to match there would have to be race in the game or something of the sort which wouldn't go over well.
Exactly. I actually like that San Myshuno has more Asian townies. Everyone knows that by "normal" folks mean bland, American/Anglo-Saxon names like "Jennifer" or "Ryan" lmao. I actually find myself changing names to make them more "foreign" or just unique, because I prefer a diverse game.
