No, I have never thought about it like that, a game generally has a setting which have different features inspired by things from other worlds, but I don't expect that to be from equal parts of the world, nor do I think it should be, that's an impossible task.
I don't think people should expect the sims 4, a game with serious flaws, to represent the whole world. Games are difficult to make, you need a lot of art, research and development, that's why developers generally only focus on a particular setting with different influences and then they work on that and put in details into that setting.
