My picks for a decent game-pack would be:
Bands
In the past, when I first got into TS4, I remember having tons of fun just watching my Sim play guitar and sing while doing it. Then again at the release of Get Famous, I had a lot of fun with the music mixer object. How fun would it be to get a bunch of Sims together (like what Get Together encourages) and play music? Even if it's just jamming and no way to make a career out of it, no concerts, whatever, I just want my Sims to make music together with a decent amount of songs (maybe 8 at least?).
Besides, it'd be funny to use with certain occults. Imagine an all-Werewolf metal band or a vampire one. Or heck, diverse it up and make the lead singer a Werewolf, the guitarist a Vampire, the drummer is a Ghost, and the keyboardist is a Spellcaster.
Fairies
One advantage TS4 seems to have over its predecessors is having fairly decent occults. Sort of. Mermaids, Aliens, and Plant-Sims suck, but Vampires and Werewolves are incredibly fun for me and Spellcasters are somewhere in the middle. Fairies were an occult I didn't expect to enjoy in TS3, but they're among my favorites in that game. I wouldn't mind them getting a great game-pack here. The world for them can be based on the Sylvan Glade location.
Zombies
If they're nothing like the ones in TS3 and can actually pose somewhat of a threat to your Sims, I'm all for it. And as someone suggested, it'd be nice to have more grungy content to help with apocalyptic story-telling. Strangerville's Possessed emotion is evidence that the Sims can be pretty creepy (the sound effect for the emotion has jump-scared me a few times XD).
Grim Reaper
I believe there was a survey somewhere that suggested the idea of a pack that let your Sims have a reaper career. It's certainly a unique idea and TS4 needs more of those.
Here's hoping the next road-map hints at one of these.
Is it obvious I'm an occult player? I feel like it is, not sure.
