Do you turn on aging?

all of my sims would be dead before I get to playing them if I did because I play one save only and many many households

also this save has been going on real years so :sweat_smile:

I just age sims up myself when I am ready for it

I was thrilled when I discovered I could turn aging off. I doubt I'll turn it on again.

Currently I play aging off, manually aging up households (thank you MCCC) in batches when "the time is right".

I never, and I do mean NEVER play with aging on. I almost exclusively rotationally play so I'm always moving between families and I'm a big control freak and want everything to happen on my time lol. I don't even let the townies around me age or move on with their life without my say so lol. This is though why when I complete my story I never touch them again lol. I've actually been trying to talk myself into doing an actual playthrough of parents to children to grandchildren and just playing on long life or something but every time I try I get invested and shut off the aging.

I gotta have aging enabled because otherwise it feels too easy

The problem is, when I turn on aging for unplayed sims also, they age way faster than my played sims. (on long lifespan) So, I enable it for the active household only, then every blue moon, I enable it for unplayed, only a few days.

I'm a cheat who doesn't like time limits. I like to age up sims on my own good time. I also like to role play as people who actually *can't* age for one reason or another once they reach YA. xD Or if I want to play as some vampire child, like Babette from Skyrim.

I turn the aging on in all the sims but set to long

Have aging turned on only for my scenario and challenges like 100 baby, legacy etc where you need to age up the sims save file
My other two save files one for build/ shell challenges and my main save file aging is turned off and only age up when a sim year is up I will then just pick certain days to age them up and their friends leaving everyone else the same age unless for some reason decide to age them up also

I used to have aging on, but since the auto-aging bug, I haven't dared turn it back on.

I have aging on unless a sim in my household is about to age up without completing everything I wanted them to by that lifestage. Then I will turn all aging off in that save until they have achieved what I wanted them to. I turn aging off in the whole save because I don't want aging to get out of sync.
