Do you upgrade old homes and sims with new pack content?

My game is like a history book of styles! I just realized that I hardly ever upgrade my sims or their homes with new BB/CAS content. Most sims I created when I got base game, still have hair and cloth...

Whenever a new pack is released, I'm always tempted to just restart everything all over again... lol That's one of the reasons why I usually wait until a few new packs are released before I decide to actually do a play through... The Sims isn't really a game I play constantly... it's more of a game I binge on for a few weeks and then stop playing... and then I'll wait like 6 months and binge on it again.

I don't know how many others also do this... lol Maybe I just need help... I have no idea.
