Do you upgrade old homes and sims with new pack content?

My game is like a history book of styles! I just realized that I hardly ever upgrade my sims or their homes with new BB/CAS content. Most sims I created when I got base game, still have hair and cloth...

My save file is from when Sims 4 came out. I only have one that I play. Its a massive rotational legacy thingy. Im constantly updating the lots and sims when new content comes out, sometimes to the point where I dont actually even get to round to playing before a new pack comes out. And the cycle repeats :D
