Do you upgrade old homes and sims with new pack content?

My game is like a history book of styles! I just realized that I hardly ever upgrade my sims or their homes with new BB/CAS content. Most sims I created when I got base game, still have hair and cloth...

DO YOU UPGRADE OLD HOMES AND SIMS WITH NEW PACK CONTENT?

No, not at all. I don't care for every new thing that is released let alone all the compulsive usage of certain objects. Sometimes, I give them an item and will take it away when I feel it's being overused. Also, I'm careful not to place too many interactive objects since it will make my Sims forget to interact with each other.
