Do you use pre-created rooms when building?

I've only recently began looking through all the pre-created rooms available, and I have to say they are well made. Also, I like how most professions have one only available after someone in your household as reached level 10 in that profession; it gives me something to work towards to place all the other items I've earned while rising in level (kinda like earning trophies and at max rank I get a case to hold them all).

If anything, even if I don't use them, they are inspiring to look at.

I have been using them, there are a quick and easy way to furnish/build a house or apartment.

You will need to adapt the rooms a little, like moving doors and things, change colors, so your house will look unique and yours anyway.

I actually spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out a way to include all the rooms of a particular theme to build one big house. I was using the rooms from Island Living, and after a while finally determined it's impossible without altering the rooms at least a bit.

I do when money isn't an issue and I don't want to spend the time building, and I quickly need a specific room (usually a bathroom, since my Sims never seem to have enough of those :lol:)

I mostly use them for inspiration, but occasionally I place an entire room. Most of them look really nice. What I really like about this feature is the option to click on objects on the big preview and directly grab the object to place it.

Had the game since launch and probably used this feature about 3 times, I forget it exist. I tried to create a house using only the pre created rooms and it was pretty ugly, but tbh they’re better than what I could come up with ?‍♀️

Pre-made rooms are good for quickly slamming together a functional house that isn't just a sad, single-floor box. Great when you're feeling lazy or tired after spending 30 minutes to an hour in CAS getting your sims just right and just want to get right to playing in Live mode.

I use them occasionally but most of the time my sims don't have the money when they are starting out.

I've used them for single rooms occasionally. Also built pretty big houses a couple times, with a bit of tweaking. Had to move some doors/windows and change the walls a little. Some times I use it to pick out furniture for a specific style when I need inspration.

Not anymore really, but I used them when I started building. I think the feature works best if you pick a couple of premade rooms and then build around those.
