Do you want the ability to have longer sim names?

This is an age-old issue, but it has annoyed me for quite some time that names can only be 14x2 characters long. This means my sims can't always have hyphenated names or two first names. In real life, having names longer than 14 characters really isn't that uncommon.
Olivia Spencer-Kim-Lewis automatically comes to mind, which may mean that they intended to have the names longer at some point.
Would it really "plum" up the code to increase the string length of sim names?

    I'd like middle names, but I really don't care one way or the other about the names being longer. If they give it to us, great. If not, I'm still fine.

    I think I've had this issue once or twice, so I would have voted yes as well. I've adapted my sims to have simpler names, but it could definitely be more elaborate if we were given the option of longer names.

    Yep, especially if there's two names I like for a first name but can't put both in there, unless they're short.
