Do your sims ever die unexpectedly?

Mine don’t die unexpectedly, unfortunately. There’s a few a keep I close eye on and would resurrect, but when the rotation is bigger sudden deaths are good for the plot. If anything, I have the opposite problem - they take too long to die. It took 3 in game days to get one to drown from exhaustion, and I had an active elder sim take two days to die after constantly using a Murphy bed and trying to woohoo her to death. I wouldn’t mind if the death chances when doing something risky were higher.
