Does anyone actually visit the museums?
I honestly don't remember a time when I last visited a museum in any of the TS4 worlds. I just find that there is no point to them, what is unique that can be done at a museum that we can't do at art ...

Very, very rarely. Museums as they are now are too boring to be worth a loading screen and the ugly weirdos game loves to generate whenever my sims visit a community lot. I suppose I cold try and make them more interesting, but as my sims have enough art at home to look at for their hearts delight, I don't really bother. The only museums I haven't replaced with something more useful is the one at Brindleton Bay, and that's mainly because I never play there.
