I can't quite recall now, but I do believe it was in Sims2. I'm certain someone can come along and correct me. I never played the Original Sims. But there was a function that allowed a Sim who desired...

I created a Singles Club, but my Sim went to various lots in order to recruit others to join. Can't find her anywhere. She's still in the game. I know because I checked in on her household. She's alive and well and protected by Played, so that the Plumbob over her house is deep green. In previous iterations of my Cantrell family, the two often bumped into each other. Why it isn't happening this time is a mystery — except for the fact I want it so badly. LOL I should grow a more callous approach, no? I'm uncertain I'll have any time to find her today, unless I send him over to deliver a Singing Telegram for her mother … Two hours to go here, until the pack is released. My Sim has only four weeks until he ages up. If he doesn't run into her soon, they won't have time to become high school sweethearts. She will attend University and they will all live in the same Dorm, so I can control them. Oh, well. I have a lot of gameplay before me and not enough time to accomplish much. It is what it is. I'm certain I'm not the only one singing the blues at this moment.
