Does anyone else think the maid is pointless now?

Does anyone else think that maids are pointless in the sims 4? I don't know about your experience with them but I find that they rarely show up, they don't put leftovers in the fridge, they walk in on...

I order a maid to come regularly and they come whenever they want. House is still more dirty than it is clean because they hardly come and when they do come they do the minimum and leave. Absolute worst
