Does anyone get along with Vlad?

He makes friends easier with other vampires; they don't mind his uncontrollable hissing. Sims are more of a challenge in that regard. I have a part-alien in one save who's dating him, but their relationship is a constant battle to keep up. It didn't help when he decided to drain my sim with the deep drink interaction. I know you were starving Vlad, but that's your fault. You were the one who insisted on barging in and caring for the toddlers 24/7.

Meanwhile, he's married to Ulrike Faust in my rotational save. She makes for an awesome-looking vampire, btw. They get on well.

As soon as the Vampires pack was done downloading, I added one of my Sims to Vlad's household. They got along rather well, aside from some random anger grumpy mood swings from Vlad. Those moments died down a bit when they were no longer strangers to each other and my Sim actually helped him get along better with visitors. Once Vlad turned her, I tried uploading them to the gallery, but Vlad himself seems to be glitched in my game and I am unable to upload anyone in his household...tried under a new save and still no luck. So he is back to being a background character instead.

I couldn't get Vlad to like my sim either, so I went to the vampire household next door and had the vampire with the emo hair (forgot his name) turn him. Mission complete.

My sims just don't want a grumpy, mean, creepy looking friend like Vilad anyway :s

I came on here for just this reason. He came to my sim's house and I used all friendly/funny interactions and it was nothing but red minuses; I hate it as I had planned to have them be friends and in the real long run get him to turn my sim and perhaps mentor or something if those are options. Myself, I never use the negative traits, so it was eye opening to see them play out of that sim. >:)

He finally came over and attacked my Sim! I started a new game, just to see if I could make this happen. And it worked according (I assume) to plan:
1) Vlad texts Neva, telling her she has a nice neck, even though they've never met. How creepy is that?
2) Vlad stops by, she invites him in, they have a nice chat.
3) Neva goes to bed. Vlad stays downstairs, playing on the computer and laughing all night long. Then he goes home.
4) Neva made very sure not to have or plant any garlic, just in case.
5) Next night, Neva goes to bed. Vlad appears outside her door, then comes in...

Next day she was Uncomfortable, and she had two adorable holes in her neck.
By the way, I've been turning the saturation down on my monitor and playing in black and white. I love how everything looks!

Meh, for a story I've been writing, my main vampire character used to be Vlad's apprentice. I'm basically getting them to be mortal enemies on purpose, but for regular gameplay, I just didn't bother so much to befriend Vlad with other sims characters.

i have 3 friends sharing a house and only one is a vamp. Everyone (and this is without cheats mind you) has a decent relationship with Vlad. as long as you avoid his dark form, text and call occasionally, and have inspired conversations with him your good.
Everytime my vampire sim visits him, as she goes in for daily training sessions, he is always inspired because of the pipe organ. Shes always inspired because of her high cooking skill and violin playing. They get nothing but ++ conversations. Her human boyfriend is gregarious and their friend is an artist. They chat him up every time he visits even when I don't want them to. Most of the time + and ++ interactions. maybe they are just too stupid to see the danger or are somewhat immune do to willingly feeding a vampire and having some vampire lore skill.

My vampire sims are all pretty good friends with Vlad even though he tends to get a little snippy if they bother him too much.

Actually, my human sim befriended Vlad right away. She does have the evil trait, though, which he has too....they became fast friends, then best friends. Now they are married, she is turned into a vampire, and they have two kids. The hissing noise he makes only affects humans, so once he turned her into a vampire, it had no affect on their relationship

The reason you are getting negative relationship signs is because Vladislaus has a vampire downside, which is something vampires take on to balance out their powers. He has a downside called hissing, where he occasionally makes hissing noises that appall humans. I have problems with this because my sim is married to him and has two toddlers with him, and everytime he's around them he tries to be nice, but then he hissess or says something awkward(because of his loner trait) and loses friendship points....
