Does anyone still play completely vanilla? (PC/MAC Players)

I've always been curious if anyone else playing vanilla? Have you always played this way or do you go back and forth with Mods and cc from time to time? What do you do to make your vanilla game fun? ...

I always played Vanilla since Sims 1 and will continue to do so as long as I play but Mods are not necessarily an bad thing as it gives the palyer ways to expand their game or even fix what EA/Maxis takes their sweet time fixing. However the reason I do not use them is when EA/Maxis does find the time to provide fixes which in most cases will break an mod also the problems with core mods which you may have to unistall and reinstall.
