yupp, EVERY console player is playing vanilla....so....
Well, yea lol I meant more so PC players. Console players don't really have a choice. So I thought it would be clear who I was acknowledging.

I play completely vanilla Sims 4 and I've never used any mods and I love it.
I've never had any reason to download mods. My game works well and I'm usually surprised how many bugs people seem to have these days. The only bugs on my game now are the one with Sims not eating leftovers from fridge and the staircase bug. Other than those bugs I have no problems with my Sims. They function well and they can take care of themselves, even when I'm not controlling them. I have no reason to "fix" anything with mods.
I enjoy playing vanilla and I have a lot to do with my Sims without mods.
I also don't need cc. I have all packs installed and there are a lot of clothes and other items to choose. I don't care about the latest fashion or making my Sims looking like supermodels. Of course I always love to get new clothing, hair styles or b&b items when new packs will be released, but not enough that I'd want to download any cc.
Maybe later when Sims 4 is finished, when there won't be any more updates I could try some cc, but the source would have to be reliable. I don't even think about it now. I love my game as it is. :)
I find it intriguing that we all have so many different experiences when it comes to bugs and glitches. There was one point when C&D came out that my game was bug and glitch-free. I was ecstatic. I hope I can get the simmer of joy again. I'm just tired of going back and forth with mods in my game and having to update them. Don't get me wrong modders are amazing and they bring amazing things to the game but after a while, it becomes tedious to update every patch.
Side Note
I think I am going to start back with rotational play. I do play with premade sims but I have been debating for the longest time if I want to delete them. I've created a lot of families and sims with different stories and I kind of want to see where that goes within rotational play. I remember absolutely loving rotational play in the sims 2 but I've heard there are some hiccups in the sims 4.
