Does fame decay seem too quick/harsh?
It's a serious question. My first 'tester' sim became famous and never lost a star even though she just did the work gigs and made appearances at the awards. My first proper sim went to the lounge one...

I was just a bit annoyed that for one sim (who did the bare minimum) it didn't decay that fast, and my other sim it plummeted, I didn't even get the warning notification. She went from earning her star one day, to losing it the very next day. It was totally unexpected and she was waiting in to go to her next audition (which she passed and is now currently sitting at two stars).
Yeah, I could see that being frustrating.
Oh, and I did find a decent solution to my household. When my one Sim (who has a pristine reputation) throws a charity dinner, she can name others in the houeshold as the hosts as well. They're able to boost their own reputations and fame when the event is gold. I only did it once so far, but it's been way easier to organize than taking the group of them out somewhere and having one protest for World United while two others perform a romance scene and the other plays the violin. ^_^;;
