Does fame decay seem too quick/harsh?

My issue isn't that fame fades. Makes sense, I enjoy the challenge. What does bother me? It specifically states that once you reach 5 star fame, you have to ignore ALL fame related actions for DAYS before you get told your fame is fading. And here I am, 5 star celebrity sim, who gets that note EVERY freaking day, even when he has done fame related actions... that very day... multiple times. I'm going to chalk that up to being a bug, and hopefully something they'll fix, but it sure is frustrating to have a gold gig with 3 fame stars completed, to then be told "Fame Fading!!" >:/
