Yes and no. They will do the laundry, but half the time they just stand around not doing anything they're supposed to do. You sometimes have to praise them to get them motivated. I personally use the maid instead; however, maids don't work on the weekends. If your butler is being lazy or you get tired of micromanaging them, you could hire both maid and butler.
