This is very annoying, dogs daily gets dirty very quick and I don't think it's reasonable that you have to bath them every day Not to mention how long it takes to finish bathing them After bathing the dog then BAM next few hours he's dirty again..EA please..

If you train them not to play in puddles or garbage, you won't have as much of a problem with dirty dogs. Hope that helps.

@mrkyle thanks for that suggestion. While not an annoyance I've been noticing that lately my fur baby requires a lot of baths. :)

The only place I have a lot of pets is in a save game with "premades" from prior iterations. I didn't understand why whenever I rotated around to play a bit the dogs would be filthy. If I took a sim to visit another family that had dogs they spent their time bathing the animals lol. Welp, shouldn't have made those families until I was ready to spend some time on them I guess.Thanks for the info @mrkyle. That makes sense... same advise I give when people complain of staff not working well ..darn I feel kinda dumb now.Do we have a cheat to max out training like that? Some families I might not play enough to make it worth it and I don't really want to rely on a mod to make my utopia worlds.

Yes I agree, they get dirty way too quick. Bathing your dog daily isn't even healthy for them. It's really not realistic and one of the reason my sims more likely will have cats than dogs. Not to mention when you make a dog friendly bar, they almost always stink and the whole bar starts waving their hand in front of their face from the smell.

Yikes, mine doesn't get dirty nearly as often so I can't share your pain. I know they get dirtier quicker from certain behaviors, though.

realistic for strays though and if you're good enough friends with them you can invite them to a lot with a bath and bath them (or for cats, brush them)

Yeah. And you can also use the "Make Happy" cheat to take care of it.
