@Pamtastic72 i'm not disagreeing with you, i'm saying BEFORE nerfing something how about adding a toggle first, specifically about what people is complaining about & see how they'll react.
i have yet to see occults toggles, which is one of the things people complains the most about.
Well it’s too late for Vampires. They’re basically sims in costumes now, and that pack is a double priced stuff pack. These occult’s in Paranormal come with a toggle in that you have to intentionally set your lot type to Haunted House to trigger the behavior in addition to using some of the objects but I am certain it won’t matter, the dollhouse crowd will complain and then it will all be dialed down to almost zero. Your haunted house will only end up seeming haunted once every three in game years and then only if you force it to.
The great irony to me is that a lot of the same people I see complaining to the point of getting this stuff nerfed are the same ones who make threads complaining the game “lacks depth” or “meaningful gameplay”.
Yeah the same people complain about their computers not being strong enough to support these updates too. I've just accepted there are a few bad eggs that will never be happy and move on. I do agree toggles don't seem to appease them either. I don't think EA should cater to the politically correct people because we have now see the consequences of that happening and it hasn't been good. They need to start representing the underdogs more now rather than just the entitled lifestyles and well with super naturals having real life illness origins, it's a good way to be inclusive. For my Self-Sim I had her as a mermaid because there are some days I don't have use of my legs and have to use a wheelchair, yet I can still swim well.
