The irony is, some people will enjoy seeing their Sims scared all the time. And others are serious players who will hate it.
being a "serious" player has nothing to do with it imho, I am exited for the addition of scared but I also do NOT want my sims to be scared all the time...
but seeing how the so called "negative emotions" are right now in game (barely there and easily overridden by "positiv emotions"), I dont really see that happening.
Honestly my gameplay is hardly ever affected by the emotions of my sims, the only time I was actually annoyed by it was when sadness would just not stop in one of my households cause of the new sentiments....it kept going for days cause one sim was sad due to skiing badly (which is weird by itself imho) and the others became sad cuz that one sim was sad and so it went in circles over and over...trapped in a never ending cycle of sadness they were, without any good reason too.
So if anything I fear that scared will be (as it often happens in is game) badly implemented and/or balanced, where it makes little to no sense when it happens and/or the strength of the moodlet is too high for the thing that caused it.
