It frustrates me when people blame players for complaining, as if it was the players who decided what to do with a feature. If the players did have the power, wouldn't that mean they'd have to take into account the players who *don't* want stuff nerfed and accommodate both? Seems to me the reality is sometimes complaining aligns with what the management wants and sometimes it doesn't. Beyond that, some pressure is exerted if something becomes a PR problem or is extremely persistent, but that's about it.
