Don't Complain if You Buy The Pack

I am not one to ever ask for nerfs, but the situation people were having with sims freezing to death because of the seasons expansion was overboard. People were reporting 20 or more Sims in their games dying because of them jogging in a blizzard, or dying while trying to get into the gym, ect. These were NPC Sims, not played Sims. The AI was to stupid to know they needed to be dressed in Cold Weather wear or to get them inside. Turning off weather effects in the settings is not a good fix for this, I would want my played Sims to be able to feel the weather effects without the entire rest of the neighborhood dying. Even still, I didn't cry for a nerf, I went searching for a mod to limit the effect on the NPC Sims. My point being, the toggle they gave us to disable weather effects wasn't a good enough solution. Possibly a better one would have been to give us a toggle to disable weather effects on NPC's only, like they did for disabling NPC voting for NAPS, that way our played Sims could still feel the effects of the weather. I do agree though that nerfing things is never the appropriate answer, there are better and far more fair ways of handling these situations.
