Well the thing is that Sims 3 was open world. A genuine cemetery for all Sims was not only possible, but easy. In Sims 4 nothing happens unless it happens on your Lot while you're playing. A cemetery is possible, I suppose, but not in the same way.
True. TS4 seems to handle NPCs different to previous iterations so I’m not sure how feasible it is to do the exact same thing for TS4.
Without the mausoleum the gameplay is pretty much the same. As for now the “graveyard” lot is not called “graveyard” and doesn’t need any special requirements to become one (such as parks or bars). I’m not sure what else players want to see for a graveyard lot, unless it’s related to funerals or memorial events.
I wouldn’t mind a sims gravedigger career myself. ?
