Double Beds with one side against the wall

Mine won't use the side by the wall either. I thought the same as you.

I never knew this was possible ever. But am I correct in assuming that if the Sim sleeping next to the wall wants to get up first, they can't until the other one gets up?

Lots of people reported this as a feature in the Things You Didn’t Know thread, so I believe it was something that happened. I wonder if they threw it over, or broke it with the assignment of sides feature.

So does it work now? I never knew about this, but I sure can't make it work with the new Murphy bed. I won't waste my time if it's broken. And the Murphy beds seem to break all the time, take up just as much space as a regular double and kill Sims so they don't seem to be worth the effort or expense.

So they did change it. I wonder why. Now you have to send a Sim to bed and click the outside. Then once they get in bed, select the other side of the bed next to the wall to make them slide over. After that someone else can sleep on the outside.

Forget woohoo, I don't think it works now regardless.

They did patch it in a while ago, I think it was last year, that you could click on the side next to the wall and the sim would slide over. Maybe it broke in one of the newest patches.
