Because I have to have an ever increasing garden to really explore all the things you can grow. I can't just grow a few things then replace them with new things when they die. I like stocking the fridge with home grown veggies but unless my garden gets bigger and bigger I'll only ever have the same things. Not to mention that unless there is something to do with flowers, I'll end up with an inventory chucked full of useless things.
