Duplicate Sims?

Question

Ok, I think this was just a glitch maybe? But when I was playing last, I was seeing a duplicate of my current Sim around town and she knew herself. Like she could call herself and such? I didn't even place her anywhere and I restarted the Sim. I've never had that happen before. Is that weird?

I don't know if this happens in my game, because I have multiple versions of the same Sim usually running around, but with slightly different family dynamics.
So, if there is an extra of an extra, I would have no idea.

I have had this happen if I am working on a new family and I have to stop playing before I've finished, so I save my progress to my library. Then when I reopen the game I can go into CAS and upload my previous sim(s) into the family, and continue working and adding all members. But, that first gallery save has to be deleted, otherwise the game might spawn that lone Sim or sims into your world. I don't know if that's your situation or not, but that's one possible reason.
