Duplicates and Recolors in My First Pet Stuff

Think the comment on the shirt was pretty nitpicky on there to be honest. I mean, who wants to remesh a t-shirt multiple times? The graphics are cute, but can't see my older sims wearing this unless they were volunteering at the local animal shelter or being a veterinarian or maybe wearing one in protesting for animal rights :V.

Remeshing/retexturing of items isn't anything new in sims games (chairs, coffee tables, tables, exercise equipment, etc). I just feel there should have been more surrounding children and pet's seeing as that's what I though the theme was about. No sad buff when pet hamster dies, no particular way for a sim to claim ownership of that pet. Actually would have like a interaction for a child to also 'ask for a pet'. Also doesn't seem like the child gains any responsibility from taking care of the pet. Can anyone confirm that last one if you have the pack?
